Neighborhood Pilates
Brand Identity refresh project for Neighborhood Pilates, a private wellness studio in Austin, Texas, expanding to Stuart, Florida with 1:1 reformer and mat Pilates classes specializing in pre/post-natal care. Founded by Juliana Beladera, a Pilates instructor, pre/post-natal fitness specialist, and wellness entrepreneur, the practice was built as a nurturing sanctuary to explore intuitive movement and connect with their physical strength.
The design strategy was anchored in three core pillars. The first, restoration. A calm, serene sanctuary designed for clients to reset the second they step into the space. Second, intuition. Prioritizing fluidity, organic alignment, and body connection over rigid bootcamp culture. And finally, strength: grounded, feminine support built to empower women at every stage of life.
Looking at the rhythm of the body and the restorative nature of coastal elements, we grounded the rebrand in the feeling of a physical exhale. The goal was to step away from loud, commercial fitness aesthetics and lean into a space that feels quiet, deeply rooted, and restorative.
The resulting system strikes a delicate balance between high-end luxury and neighborhood warmth—ensuring that every brand interaction, whether a social post, studio sign, or printed schedule, feels intentional and unified. Designing a brand identity for a local studio from scratch was an incredibly fulfilling process, shaping every detail from early mood boards to final print production allowed me to build a living, breathing brand ecosystem that truly reflects its community. The most rewarding takeaway wasn't just crafting a beautiful logo system, but seeing Juliana’s passion and dream space come to life that empowers everyone in their daily wellness journeys.
